Clan Logan Canada participates in many community initiatives with various groups like our Black Watch(RHR) Regiment of Canada. Our Commissioner, Steven Logan is part of the Regimental Black Watch family for many years.
- The Black watch Officer's Mess: promotion of Highland Military
traditions, fundraising evenings in support of our Black Watch and
history preservation through the Regimental Museum.
- The Family Division: Sends packs to troops on far away missions
from their families to help with psychological distress in our Military.
- The Veteran's Association: Supports Black watch veterans and
works closely with the Anne's Hospital in St.Anne de Bellevue
Since 1979, Scots of Canada has been helping groups through communications, co-operation and organization and funding activities. They promote Scottish Heritage, traditions and culture. Our president, Steven Logan, was treasurer of this group but is now Director of la Francophonie which aims to reach out to various Scottish communities across Canada, share and promote Scottish values and heritage.
The St.Andrew's Society of Montreal is a chartitable society dedicated to community assistance, education, and the preservation of Scottish arts and culture.
These are the main three initiatives:
- Community Assistance: The main function of the Community Assistance Program is to respond to the short-term financial needs of applicants.
- Educational Aid: The Educational Aid Program provides financial assistance to qualifies students.
- Scottish Cultural Grants: Grants are provided that enhance the development and promotion of Scottish culture and traditions.
The 78th Fraser Highlanders are a Regimental Association celebrating the 78th Fraser Highlanders.The honourable Simon Fraser, 18th Lord Lovat of Fraser MacShimidh(Chief of Clan Fraser of Lovat) is their colonel in Chief. Our President, Steven Logan has been dubbed an Ensign by the 78th Fraser Highlander's Fort st.Helen's garisson. Steven works hard at building the ties to rebuild the bonds between clan Logan and the Frasers of Lovat as in centuries past, they were our enemies! The Frasers support historical preservation, heritage, youth education and community.
Heraldry is a living part of who we are and something that isn't understood the same way by everyone. Our President, Steven Logan, acts as a Director of the Laurentian branch of this prestigious society.
His goal is to promote the proper us of Canadian heraldry in our country, promote and celebrate our heraldic rights as people. help bring back Heraldry in Canada and see how other Logans can get their own Coat of Arms!
Did you know Clan Logan was also involved in heritage, history and culture initiatives within the Anciennes Troupes Militaires Compagnie de la Franche marine? Our president is a Director there as well! He helps and supports your interpreters as they share the history of new france with tourists and people within Montreal at various events! Clan Logan is playing a role in shaping the future!
Clan Logan Canada also has ties promoting other goals for various Highland games across the country and even a few Highland piping bands like the Montreal Highlanders , helping with fundraising for their purposes.

We also participate in various community initiatives with the Montreal central Lion's club helping with local community issues like food pantry and lodging while promoting Clan Logan to different people.
Clan Logan Canada has the pleasure of promoting aid to veterans and through our Director Steven Logan, is a proud Legion branch 004 member who also works with Branch 24-106.
A new addition! Our Commissioner, Steven Logan is also Greater-Montreal Councillor for the Crown Society of Canada which aims to protect and preserve the history of our Constitutional Monarchy in Canada. This is an intitiative to bring Clan Logan to a greater audienceé
Clan Logan Canada is a fraternal Scottish non-profit clan organization that seeks to bring together all Scottish Logans of Scottish decent, promote Logan heritage, history. ancestry and traditions. We are looking for the chief of clan Logan to reestablish our legal and noble standing in Scotland.
Lor Joining means celebrating your Scottish Logan heritage and taking part in events showing your culture and tradtions and ancestry. It,s important to be proud of our roots and it's fun to show that we have links to Scotland!
Clan Logan Society of Canada was part of Clan Logan Society International. Since July 2024, Clan Logan Canada founded by Steven Logan, chose to leave due to irreconcilable differences. This doesn't mean we won't cooperate with the international group. In the past, we actively promoted the clan Logan commandership organized by them and will assist them when needed with the Chief project.
Clan Logan canada as it's own independant non profit organization is fairly new. we seek volunteers in various positions like secretary, genealogist, newsletter editor and we wwould like to find more representatives for Clan Logan across our country. we have Brionne Logan for Manitoba and Patrick Dionne-Kuno for Ontario but we need the rest of canada!
